TCV has worked with Zurich for many years to support TCV Community Network members insure their group activities. Zurich covers a range of not-for-profit organisations from conservation groups, community Green Gyms, allotment associations, men’s sheds, and gardening clubs, and over 17,000 not-for-profit organisations in the UK have chosen to insure with them.
TCV receives a small commission from Zurich for TCV Community Network groups that buy this insurance. This is invested into the TCV Chestnut Fund to redistribute back to our community groups through its grants. The TCV Chestnut Fund can also support insurance costs for groups through its Start Up grants.
Zurich provide a specific online product for Gardening and Conservation groups which offers £2million Public Liability insurance as standard with the option to add additional lines of cover or increase the Public Liability cover to £5million at an additional cost. If you find that you need more cover, their dedicated team are also able to discuss your organisation’s needs and offer a tailored policy.
